VG Names Must be the Same as your IGN
It has come to our attention that some members have forgotten about one of our very first rules. Your Veritas Gaming name MUST be the same as your IGN (In Game Name). As quoted here from the registration page:
NOTE: If you will be playing multiplayer games with VG members your site name MUST BE the same as your gamer tag. (PSN, XBL, STEAM ID, etc)
To be clear this includes your TeamSpeak nickname. If you have changed one of the aliases you go by on your primary platform and/or game you must change your VG name and TeamSpeak nicknames to match your IGN. This is a strict rule across the community in order to keep networking with VG members as simple and clear as possible.
- Members do not have the ability to change their VG site names. If you need your VG site name changed, please send a request to your direct CoC, or the staff members of a lobby you attend, and they will get the request for a name change processed.
- This does not apply to Community Members since a CM might not be playing games with members. However if you are a Community Member and have a game or platform that you play on primarily, we highly recommend your VG name matches to make it easier for other members to find you.
- All VG names and IGNs fall under VG Rules and Regulations and therefore will not have reference to inappropriate language or content as agreed to by you the member when you signed up. If your name needs to be changed please do so immediately. Refusal to change inappropriate names is refusing to abide by VG Rules and Regulations.
